Thanks to the campaign, I got to meet Yvonne.

A kiwi beauty based in Zurich. A dynamic personality full of energy and who is a strong believer just like me that chocolate can cure everything. 😛

She says Fashion has always been a huge passion for her and that she wanted to give the women over 40 a voice – so that it is clear that they remain youthful as long as they choose to and hence she created Funky Forty.

I really wanted to know from her What is the one thing she likes the most about blogging?

To which she adds:’ One surprising fact is the real contact one has with others through blogging. I have made some very wonderful real friendships in the process.

The other lovely thing is to have a real excuse to go to Fashion Weeks. So far Paris and Milan each season!’

Amazing friends and fashion weeks are some amazing benefits is all I can say.

Last but not the least a final thing which I had to had to ask which is her take on the difference between millennial and women over 40?

Yvonne said:

This is a difficult question. I think being a millennial it’s much easier to stay on top of trends because all your friends are too. As you get older many people start being set with their own personal style. I feel the new generation is a lot less material than we are. The mindset is very different – more towards having a fulfilled life. Women over 40 have experienced a lot however, by now we understand ourselves. To grow older consciously is a very beautiful thing. TO do it together with the influences of the younger generations even more beautiful.
